ENGLISH

• Hello Britta how are you, could you please present yourself and tell us why speedskiing is so important for you and your family?(your brother compete as well)
  My name is Britta Backlund, also called Brutus.
  Speedski was important to me because my brother and I would always compete against each other and then find a sport that suited us both in the taste. Since I and my brother have very different lives, we had found a place to meet in the end.
  Speedksi is also fun for me because you also get to challenge many guys on the start field.

• What an amazing season you had, how does it feel to win the World Championship and the Cristal Globe (overall ranking)?
  It feels amazing, but it's hard to take in. Noticed that you were much harder against yourself this year.
  Due to the fact that a second place or third was known as a major loss while in previous years it feelt lika a big profit. Has always hoped to win but did not want have too high hopes because I knows which people I are up against. If I wold be honest so are the few girls who race very high capacity in the sport. So that makes me even more happy and to come on 5e plays in the men`s field is just a bonus.

• The level of the S1 Ladies is just fantastic, how is this going on between you? (competition – friendship)
  It goes surprisingly well, the only problem is well the language.
  English is not so common, so dialogues are not that long. I believe, however, that it is more tense among the Swedish resistance one the foreign one. But I am a bad loser but it does not go over my competitors sadly it`s go over my family. But on the good said they know how I work.
  It's a curse to be but that's probably what you need to get far.

• How does the off season look like for you Britta? (activities, training, family)
  I work out, usually at the gym. Larp and sew costumes to cosplay, which i also compete in.
  Working on a farm in sweden and my main job is to milk cows.

• If we would like to visit Sweden which place should we visit imperatively? (you favorite place, restaurant)
  There are many places, but I'm not much for big cleaners.
  I would now visit the foul shoot, it is a waterfall not giant far from where I live. Or take the kayak out on the silane. It is the small occasions that make the place.

  Mitt namn är Britta Backlund, kallas även Brutus.
  Speedski var viktigt för mig på grund av att jag och min brir alltid skulle tävla mot varandra och kunne då hitta en sport som passa oss båda i smaken. eftersom jag och min bror har väldigt olika liv så hade vi hittat en ställe att träffas till slut.
  speedksi är även kul för mig på grund av att man även får utmanna många killar på start fältet.

• What an amazing season you had, how does it feel to win the World Championship and the Cristal Globe (overall ranking)?
  Det känns ju helt klart fantastiskt, men det är svårt att ta in.
  Märkte att man vart mycket hårdare mot sig själv i år. på grund av att en andra plats eller tredje känndes som en stor förlust medans tidigare år var man sjukt nöjd med det. sen har man ju alltid hoppats men ville inte ha för höga förhopningar för man vet vilket motsånd man möter.

  det går förvånansvärt bra, enda problemet är väl språket.
  det är inte så vanligt med engelska, så blir det inte så långa dialoger. jag tror dock det är mer spänt bland de svenska motståndet en det utländska. men jag är en dåligt förlorare men det går inte ut över mina konkurrenter utan snarare familj. det är en förbannelse att vara men det är nog det du behöver för att komma långt.

• How does the off season look like for you Britta? (activities, training, family)
  Jag tränar, oftast på gym. lajvar och syr Kostymer till cosplay, som jag också tävlar i. jobbar på en gård som mjölkare.

• If we would like to visit Sweden which place should we visit imperatively? (you favorite place, restaurant)
  finns många ställen, men jag är inte mycket för stor städder.
  jag skulle no besöka styggforsen, det är ett vattenfall inte jätte långt ifrån där jag bor. eller ta kajaken ut på siljan. det är de små tillfällena som gör platsen
